KERI'S BOARD

24 Pins

Organize plans and copies for the week! This is great for preparation and in case of a last minute sub- you are organized!

Compliments from teacher tipster. Use tea lights in classroom for students to turn on lights for true/false, yes/no, or any type question our creative minds can come up with. Think I might have to go get some.

3-6 Grade

On Fridays, place Pickles and Ketsups on the board. Anyone who has turned in all of their assignments is a "pickle" so write their name under the pickle sign. Anyone who is missing an assignment has their name placed under the ketchup bottle. Pickles can "pick" a fun game or activity, while "ketchups" catch up on missing work. It is amazing how quickly assignments come in!

They picked their favorite book used a piece of cardstock folded to look like a book with a binding. They illustrated the cover, and wrote a brief summary on the back. We read some summaries on the back of some of the books in our class library and the students noticed that many of them ended in questions. We discussed how the questions left you wanting to read more to find out what happens in the book. add their photo & DONE!

objective of the lesson

each time we make a memory, the tudents write it on a strip of paper and then we pull them out and talk about them on the last week of school. it would be interesting to date them (of course) and look at the progression of their writing

Ahh this is crazy! Trace the hand in pencil. With a marker, draw a straight line until you get to the hand. Then make a curve from one line to the next, then continue the straight line.

LOVE THIS IDEA: I picked a stick and they never knew who that person was until the end of the day. If that person behaved in line, listened and followed directions in class with few warnings, they got a surprise out of the treasure box and their name went up on the wall of fame..if the mystery person did not behave their name went back into the box or whatever I had and it was never revealed. FREAKING GENIUS!

no excuses!
