Writing Center Activities
My students last year loved having whole class journals to write in. They had a chance to write in them during Work on Writing, and a chance to read them during Read to Self. I made up a new set of 8. At the moment they are pretty plain covers, but once a student writes in it they have the option of choosing a sticker from my collection to place on the front cover. The stickers show me how many kids have tackled each topic.
Whole class journals..each student can write in them on a certain topic and the class can read them at different time.
Very cool printable journal pages. Each one has a variety of spaces of small-medium brainstorm prompts. Some of them come with "lightning rounds", where you very quickly highlight or circle one of the two options. All the pages have a quote as well. Each page comes with the option to print in color, a border that can be colored in, or no border at all.

Cute little writing center (love the lamp, it really gives the space a "homey" feel) & Reading Cafe board
