After my daughter was born, I was mortified at my stretch marks--deep, dark purple slashes down my hips, stomach and bottom. My midwife told me a line about how I should think of them as tiger stripes. For some years, I was self-conscious about them. Then, I forgot about them. For a while, I thought I might even turn them into tiger stripe tattoos. Now, I'm trying to erase them. Do you have tiger stripes? Have you changed how you feel about them?

As much as I love tigers, and pregnant bellies, I'm not sure this is the best combination of the two. :-)
