At a very young age I started comparing myself to others. From trivial things such as, why does her outfit look nicer than mine? to the more serious, how come I'm the only girl who brought her uncle to a father-daughter dance? Comparisons aren't always negative, in some cases they even fuel me to do better. When I'm feeling self-conscious and comparison is my minds go to reaction, it can be dangerous, and it's something I have to work on.
What can I say, music makes me happy
"Christ’s love is greater than anyone can ever know, but I pray that you will be able to know that love. Then you can be filled with everything God has for you. With God’s power working in us, he can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of. To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:19-21.
He is jealous for me Love's like a hurricane, I am a tree Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory and I realize just how beautiful You are and how great your affections are for me. Oh, how He loves us so Oh, how He loves us How He loves us so.
