The Art of Janet Spreiter
Janet Spreiter has been landscape painting continuously since graduating from Stanford in 1977. She has traveled extensively, always using her travels as an opportunity to observe and to be stimulated by new themes. "I seek the quiet beaches, isolated valleys, and remote areas of Maui, where I can immerse myself in the uniqueness of this diverse island. The process of plein air painting requires great concentration, and I use it as a meditation process" says Janet.
