Stuff for the Niece/Nephew/Future Children

Eventually a child that I like will happen to me and I'll be ready!!!

I am sure I will come up with a few to traumatize my children good and well! ;)

When parents lie to their children.

Cool games that require nothing more than people and your brains! Perfect for any time you are stuck waiting with kids!

Sound unit?? Glow stick xylophone. Put the glow sticks in cups of water and an aura comes off in the dark, when you tap them. Gotta try this!

This is the recipe to use if you want to make gigantic long-lasting bubbles. 6 cups water, 1 cup corn syrup, 2 cups regular strength Joy dish soap. Previous pinner said- They were industrial strength, un-poppable creations. We could even stack them together and make bubble sculptures!

Huge "water bed" giant sensory bag. Best outside activity ever! A whole day of fun for under $10 ! This was a HUGE hit.

Have the Dr. write the gender in a sealed envelope. Give it to the ppl at the balloon store and only pick up the box. EVERYONE will be surprised @ the photo shoot! I am doing this for sure! Love this idea. Someone have a baby so I can do this for them!!!!

It's THEIR cake, not Martha Stewart's. Use white fondant to cover your cake and give your child food markers to decorate their cake. Imagine doing this every year and seeing (in pictures) how your child develops.

Letter walk: walk around the neighborhood looking for letters on signs or things that begin with that letter, and then fold down tab on the plate. This would make a great car activity too!

kids clapping games; the oldies are all here! --can't have little girls and not know these. :)

Half birthday cake--what a great way to surprise the kids on their half birthday! {And good excuse for cake!}

Elf sized pancakes..must remember for breakfast when our elf returns!!

Monster spray. Use before bedtime as needed.

A cute way to let kids know if they are having a brother or sister!

So smart! Color coordinated Easter egg hunt, kids only collect one color egg. This way everyone gets a fair chance, from littlest to biggest

Each kid gets their own wrapping paper - none of the gifts are marked, and in order to know which gifts are theirs, they have to find a tiny piece of their wrapping paper in the bottom of their stocking. it's a little last minute excitement, as they see the gifts, but don't know which belongs to who. Cute and some great Christmas traditions in this blog post.

Draw a picture with white crayon on white paper then have your child watercolor over it to reveal the surprise!! - I forgot this simple one!

Look closely: students folded white paper in half, wrote their names in cursive, and cut out around their names - this formed the body. They added the head, arms, and legs then mounted their "name skeletons" on black construction paper! Notice that the top left name is NOELLE. :) Love it!

LOVE THIS! Velcro dots on the ends of popsicle sticks. Kids can make letters or shapes over and over again.

"On my 16th bday, my dad gave me a half heart necklace and kept half of it. My half was attached to my bouquet on my wedding day. At the reception, he surprised us by giving his half to Chris. He literally passed down the responsibility of holding on to my heart." (Tucking this away in case we ever have a girl.)-I love this idea...

its a boy baby announcement... hahaha i cant stop laughing

Fire breathing dragons from toilet paper rolls!
