You ah wicked smaht!
This is Boston from the Esplanade. The tall building is the Prudential. The Esplanade is a huge park of lagoons, trees, paths right on the Charles River. Donated by Mrs. Wm Storrow in 1936 with the stipulation that no cars be allowed, exactly one year after her death the city laid a major roadway through the park, vastly shrinking its size. It is still an oasis & where the Pops play on the 4th of July. A sailing center is there where kids can learn to sail & use a sailboat for the summer for $1.
