Ray Krone, who spent more than 10 years in prison, 3 of them on death row, before DNA testing cleared him, spoke to a packed auditorium at MU in 2010. Krone is the 100th former death row inmate freed because of innocence. Prior to his arrest, he had no criminal record. Krone is the subject of the book Death Penalty on Trial: Crisis in American Justice, by Bill Kurtis. In this podcast you’ll hear his live speech and a question and answer session.
