Holme Timber Circle (Seahenge), discovered on the beach at Holme, Norfolk in 1998. The circle of timber posts within the intertidal zone studied and was found to have been constructed in the spring/early summer of 2049 BC, during the Early Bronze Age. Because of the perceived threat of damage and erosion from the sea a rescue excavation was undertaken and the structure was entirely excavated/removed to a location inland, despite controversy.
The Grand Circle Just as every point along the equator is 6,215 miles from both the North and South Poles, every point along this circle of ancient sites is 6,215 miles from two axis points on Earth. Many ancient sites such as the Ziggurut of Ur, the Pyramids of Giza, and the cities of Petra and Persepolis lie along this 'grand circle'

Glen Lyon - The Cailleach was the Celtic creator goddess and deep inside the Glen, an almost unique structure can be found to the creator goddess: the house of the Cailleach, or the Tigh Nam Bodach. This small stone structure, located high up the mountains at the head of Glen Lyon, is probably the only surviving shrine to the pagan Mother Goddess, the Cailleach. Until his death some years ago, the last “servant” of the Mother Goddess was Bob Bissett, head stalker of the Invermeran estate.
