Such a sweet idea for teachers to do in their class! Classroom B-day idea... or just a great community builder mid-year. This is seriously one of the sweetest ideas I have ever seen. If there is no smartboard in your room maybe you could do it with large bulletin board paper. Then they could keep the kind words.
At open house parents put their wish for the year in it.... Tells a lot.
Absolutely one of the best organized classroom's I have seen. **Must Keep**
AMAZING class ideas for organization!
writing: showing passage of time...Patricia Polacco is so good at this. I need to break out her books
Very cool parent reminder. They sign up online, you fill out online, they get a text. You never have to know their numbers, they never have to know yours! My daughter's teachers used this and we LOVED it!
I would have never thought of this.
A visual reminder for students and the teacher (especially a substitute) of tasks to be completed at the end of the day before dismissal! Help students build routine by posting this chart as a reminder of your expectations for them at the end of the day before their dismissal. Kids will love the reminder and it helps an often overwhelmed teacher!
Teachers Notebook - One minute until dismissal - love the last one!
Great idea: "The kids add a sticker every time they get a 100% on their spelling tests. As you can see from the sticker chart, we went from less that 50% of the kids achieving a 100% to almost 100% once we started keeping track of the data! The other charts consist of Excel graphs made up of various pieces of classroom data. The post-it notes on the graphs are the students "thinking" in regards to the data. This wall became a great motivational tool for my fifth graders!"
