Turn a plain papier-mache disk into an ornament that mimics peppermint candy. Paint the disk white; let dry. Then paint red swirls; let dry. Apply two or three coats of glaze, letting it dry between coats. Apply silver glitter to the edges of two cupcake liners, fold each liner in half, then accordion-fold each. Hot-glue a liner to each side of the ornament. Add a ribbon hanger with hot glue.

rice crispy treat houses - easier to make/more fun to eat
glittery foil icicles - you'd be amazed how well these come out! The glitter didn't work out (just didn't look right), but honestly just forming the icicles out of the tinfoil looked so good! We made a variety of long and short, fat and skinny, and it was so easy and fun I'm planning to make more to use on the mantle and even outside.
