Arsalan Iftikhar, senior editor at The Islamic Monthly posted a picture of a defaced version of this Gap add featuring Sikh actor and jewelry designer Waris Ahluwalia to his Twitter and Facebook. The caption was changed from "Make Love" to "Make Bombs," and also said "Please stop driving TAXIS." Gap responded by changing their twitter background to Ahluwalia's poster.
In this radical voting campaign, Tunisian NGO Engagement Citoyen erected an enormous poster of ex-dictator Ben Ali in the capital of La Goulette, inspiring shock and anger in passersby.
