The Easiest Way to Display and Save Christmas Cards Year After Year
LOVE THIS IDEA: Lay a world map over 3 canvas, cut into 3 pieces. Coat each canvas with Mod Podge and wrap the maps around them like presents. Let dry and hang on the wall about 2" away from each other. Then add pins to all the places you've been.
I love this idea! Instead of typical subway art quotes, how about creating subway art from the memorable things your kids or family say? Play around with this idea on a layout.@Jane Stevenson *our house would be very interesting with Ella's quotes all over the walls! 'Look at her gold teeth!' @ Beth & Katy Flippo
Indoor Tulips . . . Step 1 - Fill a glass container about 1/3 of the way with glass marbles or decorative rocks... Step 2 - Set the tulip bulb on top of the marbles or stones; pointed end UP. Add a few more marbles or rocks so that the tulip bulb is surrounded but not covered (think support). . .Step 3 - Pour fresh water into the container. The water shouldn't touch the bulb, but it should be very close, so that the roots will grow in and vola tulips inside!
Play this every Christmas, but using gloves, makes it way funnier. Have everyone who is playing get in a big circle, one player gets the tape ball and the player in front of them a pair of dice. The player with the ball removes tape as fast as they can and anything they dislodge is theirs to keep. The player with the dice is trying to roll doubles as quickly as they can so they get a turn. As soon as they get doubles they pass the dice to the person next to them and then they get the tape ball.
