Marilyn Monroe in "Let's Make It Legal," 1951
Marilyn Monroe — I've read a couple bios on her and while they try to get to the real woman, they can never stay off the sex goddess persona for too long. She was far more intelligent than that persona permitted; and (I suspect) she was super-intuitive, which also heightened her vulnerability. She could probably anticipate what a man would do long before he figured it out for himself.
Marilyn Monroe (born Norma Jeane Mortenson; June 1, 1926 – August 5, 1962) was an American actress, model, and singer, who became a major sex symbol, starring in a number of commercially successful motion pictures during the 1950s and early 1960s.
