I sat through whole sermons as a kid with this as the topic. I'm glad I did. Christianity is often presented as a work I must succeed at to be an example of a 'good christian'. It follows that if you don't succeed you feel shame at your failure. But Jesus is both author and FINISHER of our faith. Follow His direction; let go of the pride of achievement and let God finish His work in you.

Fully trusting God will enable you to take that leap of faith. God knows our heart and the true desires of it. What a testimony it has been since I stepped out taking a huge leap of faith - trusting that God would in fact lead the way. I have been astounded by the protection and provision provided by God - but it all begun by putting my trust in him. God is so good!

God will give you the strength to carry on, just trust in him, and you will fulfill your destiny. If you can do what you can, then God will do what you can't.
