Preschool christmas crafts
Handprint Reindeer Hat
super easy snowman and an example of a screw for our simple machines unit - http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/family/how-to-make-christmas-ornaments2.htm "Snowmen Ornaments - These cheery snow guys and gals are sure to liven up any Christmas tree. This first project is easy enough for kids to try, too, with help from and adult."
Plastic plate snow globe. Although this is fall themed, could work just as well with winter cutouts.
Paper chain link "how many days till Christmas" Bell Craft - we do these every year with a star and poem from J's 3's class in 2005 :)
Cute parent gift. They also made a card that said, "I love you "SNOW" much!" Need to remember for future years. P.S.- This lady has TONS of ideas for the classroom! TONS!!
A Cupcake for the Teacher
Cute 'melted snowman' ornament to make. It's just dried glue, and would be fun to make with kids.
Place the seed beads into a bowl. Pipe glue all over the ornament and spread it around with a paintbrush, creating an even coat. (See photo.) Hold the ornament by the hanger and roll it around in the seed beads. The beads will stick to the ornament, but you can lift beads with your fingers and sprinkle them on to fill any missed spots. (See photo.) Run some string through the ornament hanger and hang somewhere safe to dry.
Not to eat, but just as neat. Make these Christmas ornaments with foam balls, glitter and a cupcake wrapper!
