Kate’s wore a Cartier ‘halo’ tiara, created in 1936, which was lent to her by The Queen herself (Queen Elizabeth II). The tiara was a gift from Elizabeth’s father King George VI to her mother Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and then given to her on her 18th birthday. Catherine also wore earrings designed by Robinson Pelham, given to her as a wedding gift from her parents.
