Save some money on fashionable lace shorts by making your own with some trim.
Screenprinting DIY. Plus washing instructions from comments: "I've painted a hand full of tshirts and if you use proper paints it washes pretty good. I do iron my designs after the paint is dry tho, using some wax paper or simply a cloth over the design so the iron doesnt ruin the paint. Afterwards just wash on the mashine without problem (dont use high temperatures tho) and dont use the dryer, that would ruin the design and make the paint crack."
Jen took her son's drawings, blew them up in Photoshop, printed them in larger sizes, TRACED THEM ONTO FABRIC, and turned them into a duvet for his bed. GENIUS! (Read this on the Young House Love blog.) I don't know a single kid who wouldn't ADORE this. you could also make it into a great graduation or wedding gift or even just a way to preserve art work for yourself.... yay!
Take your kid's drawings and turn them into something awesome! I think I'd start with a pillowcase as this duvet would take forever! haha

I bought a cheap pair of plain black flats from wal-mart, slathered the hell out of them just as it says... and they kick ass!! I have no clue what clear glaze spray is, but I used a clear acrylic spray. No glitter fell off. I highly recommend!!! Mine look exactly like the picture. Next up? Green and Gold ones, go Pack go!

Make your design or saying with hot glue on wax paper first. Peel off when cool. Place glue stencil on your fabric or paper. Then add your paint by spraying, flicking paint (like from an old toothbrush), or use stencil brush. Voila! DIY Hot Glue Stencils / Stenciling (on clothing) via lilblueboo.com
