Teacup lights made from old candles make cute & easy gifts
T-shirt scarf. I did this one today with Ashlynn. I thought using her size shirts would make the perfect size scarf for her but they are too thin. An adult shirt works best. If the strips are too wide they will not curl well. I look forward to doing more of these. Free scarves with stuff I already have at home. :)

waxed leaves... Make sure your leaves are completely dry. Melt some beeswax in a double-boiler. You can use new wax or old candle stubs (optional - add a few drops of cinnamon oil). When the wax is thoroughly melted, take the leaves by the stem and immerse them, one at a time, in the wax. Hold them over the pot to drip a bit, then lay them on waxed paper to dry.
Umbrellas... sooo cool!
Love this idea! Not only does it act as a guestbook, but I'll know when to send birthday cards, too! :)
