TEAL RIBBON- OVARIAN CANCER

Taken From Me- © Angie Flores I'm sitting here in my room, looking at your picture. Wondering why you couldn't be a part of my future. Uncontrollable tears stream down my face, while my heart beat starts to race. Asking God why he took you from my life, it was more painful than stabbing me in the heart with a knife. I still needed you here you were the one to make everything so clear. you are apart of me and I am apart of you when you died a part of me died too. I never knew how hard it was to loose someone you love until the day you went to heaven above. Even though I can't see, I know your up there watching over me. I miss you more and more everyday and all I can do is pray. In my heart you shall forever remain.

Very little is more beautiful than an ovarian cancer survivor.

Ovarian Cancer Awareness Bracelet. Simple and pretty. www.pamhurst.com

Stuart Weitzman Annual Celebrity Shoe Auction: Stuart Weitzman annually asks some of the hottest celebrities to design shoes for the Stuart Weitzman Annual Celebrity Shoe Auction. It’s an online auction, so anyone can bid. September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Stuart Weitzman is certainly doing its part to attract publicity in order to raise money to support ovarian cancer research. The celebrity designers include Brooke Shields, Christie Brinkley, Danica Patrick, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Eva Longoria Parker, Janet Jackson, and Kiefer Sutherland.

A note from the creator: Echo was inspired by the undaunted spirit of my late wife Mary who lived with ovarian cancer for 7 years and never once said, “Why me?” She redefined her life to fit the unwanted and unexpected circumstance. Mary used her journey with the disease to find a voice for awareness, traveling the country to deliver the message so that lives could be saved. In Echo’s stance of power and determination I see the strength and spirit of all women living with and fighting ovarian cancer. They find meaning through their bravery and determination, defying the odds to hang on to a new normalcy, and that is their victory.

In the memory of this beautiful woman, please consider joining our team or donating to the Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer Walk. We are walking in memory of my mother in 2 weeks! Any donation is GREATLY appreciated!!
