Great Summer Read:...More than just a "Travel" book, it is a unique and interesting account of an Epic Journey by an ordinary man with no clue he was getting into when deciding to hike the Appalachian Trail. His choice in partners, camping gear and the situations he finds along the trail are interesting and funny. Humor, Uncertainty, and a little bit of Terror all roll into one to make this a great read and well worth the time.
I'm convinced. Perhaps on the bus ride home.
Not too much, just a little.
Not only vegetarians, vegans or environmentalists are the target audience of this book. Everyone who wishes to understand the mechanism of the food industry to produce meat, will enjoy this one. Also, Jonathan Safran Foer is one of the best authors of our time. Just because of his style it is worth reading!
Great writer, great topic.
