I framed this and gave it to my brother for his birthday. We share the same birthday, 2 years apart. He was 10 and I was 8 when he wrote it. It's from 1987 and reads "Dear Mom, Thank you for having me.I think my life is great.I have great parents and that is you.One thing that I am mad about is that Heidi was born. Oh well, at least I have somebody to play with sometimes. Love, Dane"
Last weekend we spent an afternoon Letterboxing. Go to www.atlasquest.com/ to search for letterboxes planted in your area. Follow the clues to find the hidden stamp and book. You stamp the hidden one in your own book and stamp your own stamp in the small book hidden with the letterbox. It's a creative geo cache. These are the stamps that we found at Crown Hill Cemetery. We were the first finders of the Peter Falk stamp. Some of these stamps were originally planted as long ago as 2009.
