If I ever teach math for good, I love the look of these organized math notebooks with a table of contents and items to paste in the notebook.

Geometry Vocabulary reference sheet. Great for math notebook

Tales of a Fourth Grade Teacher: Angry Birds Geometry Lesson...what a cute idea!

Area math game: Roll the dice and draw the area array on your own grid - first to fill it wins. Or 2 players choose a different coloured pen each, use one grid and the player who cannot complete the last array is the loser. Like it!

Classroom Freebies Too: Place Value Game

Fun addition card game: Kids line up cards in four rows of five. Then, they flip 2 cards over. If the sum of the two cards equals 10, they keep the cards and replace the cards with two more from the deck. The game ends when there are no more matches left. A match includes 6 and 4, 7 and 3, 8 and 2, 5 and 5. Whoever has the most cards wins the game! Note: You can change the game and have kids flip ____. Give them a different sum each time they play.

Tales of Frogs and Cupcakes: Math Notebooks... 4th gr. teacher explains and provides photos of items, some of which include vocabulary foldables, in a math notebook. Awesome resource!

Put a number in the Wanted sign and the kids write different forms of that number; tally marks, etc.
