Box Tops For Education

Ideas-Inspiration-Successes! Anyone who know me, knows I am the first to admit I need a 12 step program where box tops are concerned! Can't help it, love how easy it is to save for our school!

Every student in school gets a ziplock bag they can put their name on and keep at school. They bring their box tops from home and place them bag. I collect the bags and know which student/class to give credit to!

As the "Pinkalicious" Box Tops coordinator I decided to make Pencils out of Rolo's for each teacher and staff member. From Me and Box Tops welcoming them back for another year.

It's been a few years since I was a Girl Scout, but imagine my pride when our local Girl Scout troop presented me with my Official Box Tops patch!

Our amazing, and good spirited principal wins 1st Place in the Box Tops Bike Race!

Our school Principal raced against our two Parish Priests on childrens bicycles (with flat tires) around the gym while being cheered on by students, parishoners and staff to celebrate a succssful year with Box Tops!

We hit our goal of raising $4,000.00 with Box Tops so the Amazing Box Tops bike race was on!

1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners received a ribbon, small trophy and hand made award necklace!

Celebrating our "POPPING" successful year with Box Tops this is the 1st Place awards for our tricycle race! Box Tops #1 crown and Box Tops 1st Place sash

One happy Box Tops CAD raffle winner! Our local Catholic High School gave us a football signed by the Varsity and Jr. Varsity players along with a Tee Shirt, Book Bag and passes to any PIUS event! I have one happy 7th grader!

The poster I created to announce the winners of the Class Assignment Day, Save Over Summer raffle. Prizes were presented at our PTO sponsored Back to School Ice Cream Social.

Our theme for the 2014-15 School year is "Soaring to new heights with Box Tops!" This is our classroom tracking poster. The homeroom teachers name and grade are on each hot air balloon. Next to it is a laminated cloud where I will record and update each class total. Laminating the clouds allows me to easily update them with a dry erase marker as the totals increase.

    Very cool! Except at our school the kids would constantly erase the numbers!

    I thought they would too, but this is our 2nd year tracking with dry erase and it's going well! They also know I keep a master list so no matter what the board says- I have the final say!

Our new expired Box Tops guessing jar (or water bottle!) Once a month each student gets to guess how many expired Box Tops are in the jar. The person(s) closest with out going over wins a certificate for 100 box tops to spend in our Box Tops Store!

So excited, 57 families brought in over 3,000 Box Tops at Class Assignment Day. They were working hard to save over summer and help raise $$ for our school!

Each summer I try to encourage our school families to save their box tops over summer break. This year at Class Assignment Day those who brought in Box Tops were entered into a raffle to win one of 14 great prizes!

Students whose class increased their class total in the last 2 weeks of February earned incentives. This brave and outgoing group celebrated "Crazy Hair Day"

Stay informed, Stay positive, get excited, and keep reminding everyone of how the school benefits from each box top! And remember, you never know who you influence~ Make it a good impression!

So excited that some of our Box Tops earnings paid for a Photo Booth for Field Day! A fun time had by all!

24 raffle prizes, Lots of happy winners and LOTS of box tops for our school! Go St Charles Chargers! Way to cap off a "Popping Successful Year with Box Tops"!

End of the year raffle 2014-2014 school year. Every 10 box tops turned in = 1 raffle ticket they can put towards any one of the 24 prizes. We have some very happy winners!

Our class competition winners received goodie boxes in keeping with our "Box Tops Detective" and "Popping Successful Year" theme. Each student received a certificate, Cream of the Crop trophy, magnifying glass, crayons, pencil, eraser, sharpner, mini notebook and megaphone popcorn holder. The popcorn was generously donated by Dickenson 14 Theatre!

Mrs. Jan's Pre-Kindergarten class celebrates winning Round 2 of the Classroom Competition with a Popcorn and Movie Party! Yep, we are having a "POPPING" successful year with Box Tops!

Here is my end of the year~ Save over summer letter to our families for the 2013-2014 school year. Each letter came with a list of participating products and a Ziploc baggie with a sticker on it that has the Box Tops Logo, our School Logo and says "I'm saving Box Tops for St. Charles. I send this letter out about a week and a half before school is out so it does not get lost in the piles of paper that come home at the end of the school year.
