SECRET Fertilizer :) My 'fertilizing cocktail' consists of mixing 1/2 bottle of cheap beer, 1 tablespoon of Epson salts, and 2 tablespoons of fish emulsion in a watering can (1-2 gallons). I do this to ALL my vegetable, flowers, and indoor plants. You will definitely notice the difference in a few weeks! Don't waste too much money on the beer. Cheapest still works great -- plants aren't picky!
How to Propagate Succulents- Snap a rosette from the mother plant, leaving a couple inches of stem attached. Set the cutting aside in a dry, protected place, out of direct sun, until the cut end dries and seals (three days to a week). Plant the healed rosette in loose, well-draining potting soil or succulent mix. Water regularly, letting soil dry out between waterings.
ROOTING SUCCULENTS - cleanly pull/break leaf from plant making sure whole leaf is in tact. Allow to dry out & end to scab over. Place leaf on top of soil. (if you bury the cut end in soil, it will only root from that end. If you lay on top of soil, it will grow both roots & form new plant) Water when soil becomes dry. Roots and new plants should start to grow with in a couple of weeks.
