Looking out over the Old Man of Storr and Raasay from the top of the Storr. In July, there's a lot of people around and about the Old Man but it was empty up here. I don't think we followed the proper path to get here though; after crossing the fence with the Old Man behind us we turned left and just walked straight up and along the ridges which only took around 40-60 minutes but was quite steep. Mt. Kailash is a mountain in western Tibet. It lies near the source of some of the longest rivers in Asia: the Indus River, the Sutlej River (a major tributary of the Indus River), the Brahmaputra River, and the Karnali River (a tributary of the Ganges River). It is considered a sacred place in four religions: Bön, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism.
