Romans 8:26-27 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

Just thinking about how AMAZING those changes are, my mind is captivated at how miraculous those transformations are, which opens my eyes, heart and mind to how God has transformed and transcended me from some really rough times, but those rough times were there to shape me into the person I am today. I am thankful for the time and pressure!
Absolutely true. Going to Mass on Sundays is actually the bare minimum. You should also receive Communion and Penance regularly, and develop an active prayer life. Because of how much it lays out the spiritual logic of Salvation in Christ through the Church, I can't recommend the daily Rosary enough. If surrendering your life to God seems daunting, then doing these things allows him to take over itty bit by itty bit.
If you only pray when you're in trouble ... you're in trouble.
