Love this idea for creating a READBOX to display books in the classroom! This pin does not go to a website so I'm not sure where the original image came from, but it's definitely a keeper! Put in the lab for when students finish MAP early. Love the idea of the READ Box instead of Red Box! I can see kids writing reviews for books and posting them on the other side of the box.

Snowman Door design. I know, I know. What does this have to do with speech? My office is in a middle school. I don't usually decorate, but because I have been gifted some wonderful winter-themed items, so I'm going to have "wishing for snow days" for the winter months. My door is in a main hallway and there is a door decorating contest I'd like to participate in this year. This looks doable. NUMBERS, NUMBERS EVERYWHERE Throughout the course of the unit students can bring in newspaper clippings, receipts, ads, junk mail, even a parents' pay stub--ANYTHING with numbers on it--and stapled it to the board! There's also a scavenger hunt activity to go along with the board. Place Value Bulletin board scavenger hunt! So cute!
I make all of my letters using fun fonts like I talked about earlier. I just increase the font size to fit what I need and print them on colored paper and cut out. It really doesn’t take much time and it easier in the long run. Data Walls, Track Progress, Schools, Teacher Tips, Bulletin Boards, Data Boards, Data Bulletin Board, Classroom Ideas, Teachers
Think Tank...on Monday put a question for the students to answer. They will then write their answer on a fish and staple it to the board. On Fridays go thru the fish and place the ones who correctly answered the questions in the fish bowl. Draw five every couple of weeks and give those students a reward. Works as a great assessment tool to see how the students are doing with various concepts! Maybe a a trivia contest in the library??
I like this.... I would use similar colors except for the purple. I wonder if you could let the bottom layer dry then use paint pens over the top for the words? That or find rub on letters.
