Oh, if only our school system would let us do something like this. I'm totally doing this on the doors inside my room, though!

crinkle up a piece of paper, trace the lines, color in! Could be a something for when kids get finished and want something to do. or a sub lesson.

Angry little monster-great project to use up all those short little pencils in my room... last day of school?

Make Watercolor Paints - baking soda, vinegar, light corn syrup, corn starch, and food coloring. It will be ready to use in a couple of days. (Must dry first.)

"Vincent Van Gogh's "Starry Night" is probably one of the most famous paintings. He painted it in a room with no windows, only using his imagination. The thick paint and bold strokes creates a very magical night sky. Although his paintings are now worth millions, he sadly only sold one painting in his lifetime. Our second graders used cut paper, oil pastels, and glitter to create their masterpieces. The frames are made with metallic paint and permanent black markers."
