This is just so...wicked. I love seeing old time photos, because they were some crazy freaks during Halloween back then!

Crayons in a glue gun... genius

Ever wanted to paint pretty designs on your nails and then realized that it was impossible to do yourself because you have a dominant hand? Well here's a solution!! Paint the designs onto a ziploc bag and then peel them off and place them on your nail!! Finish with top coat. :)

daguerreotype of a young unidentified Union soldier I tinted. I loved the mother of pearl look of the oxidized background so I left that and cleaned up the young man instead. I was touched by how handsome and young he was, Just a boy it looks like, maybe 16 or 17 with unruly brunette locks his mother was probably always brushing aside. While I tried to give the photo life I hoped fervently that he survived the war and went on to have a long happy life. This was someone's son ...

I found this wonderful picture while wandering the internet, its a daguerreotype of a rather arrogant and hot looking young man and when I went to play with the photo it screamed VAMPIRE to me.

This little girl is from Victorian England c 1870's and is her PRISON photo. I wanted to tint it but not take away from the pathos by making it bright and shiny. I wanted the raw hands, and the weathered skin of this 12 yo to be visible but to humanize her pain by bringing out her eyes.

Jane Farrell stole 2 boots and was sentenced to do 10 hard days labour. Age (on discharge): 12 Height: 4.2 Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue Place of Birth: Newcastle Married or single: Single These photographs are of convicted criminals in Newcastle between 1871 - 1873.

Before and After of a cute little toddler in shearling. The little girl's skin seemed either windchapped, or perhaps she suffered from a skin condition so I smoothed out her complexion and a blue coat & hat seemed to be her color
