A couple built this small, 2-person cabin in Joseph, Oregon. It has no running water or electricity, but it does have a wood stove for heat, and a great view of Wallowa Lake. It's in a remote area, only accessible by mountain bike paths and foot trails. Not a bad way to spend 57k (including the land). Dare to dream...

A cabin has this certain appeal to me. It's so woodsy and natural. It makes me think of fresh morning coffee and great fires in the fireplace at night. It covers the spectrum of the day and manages to give off a different feeling at different times, but it comes together in the end. The closure, ahh.

Camp Treehouse was built by a group of friends for Wandawega Rentals, a private resort in Wisconsin. The two-story treehouse was built on an old dead tree trunk and includes a wrap-around porch, a vaulted ceiling with a loft, a hammock, a ladder and a rope swing. Nearly all materials were reused or handmade.
