April 29th - Mesa Verde, Colorado, USA * Abandoned by the year 1300, the settlements at Mesa Verde National Park make it one of the nation's most important archaeological sites and a fascinating window into ancient Native American life. Cliff Palace, the jewel of the park, was home to about 100 people at it's peak.
