Mississippi Roast: By far the best recipe I have tried. I wont make a roast any other way now. Mississippi Roast - - Put chuck roast in crock pot, Sprinkle with Hidden Valley ranch dressing, add McCormick Au Jus mix, a stick of butter, 5 pepperoncini peppers. DO NOT ADD WATER. Cook on low for 7-8 hrs
Cilantro Lime Chicken Tacos (crockpot style) - 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, juice from 2 limes, 1/2 cup of cilantro, 1 packet of taco seasoning, 1 teas. dried onions, 1/2 cup of water. Put all ingredients into crock-pot. Cook on low all day, or set crock-pot to high and cook for four(ish) hours. Shred, stir well. Spoon into soft corn taco tortillas. Top with cheese, sour cream, salsa, and tomatoes.
Crock Pot Baked Potatoes -- what a great idea! Great for summertime, too, when you don't want to heat your oven! another pinner says: We do this all the time only we don’t even wrap ours! Just scrub, spray lightly the crockpot and potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. The skins get yummy and delicious just like at a restaurant!! - going to try this!
