Crockpot Chicken Terriyaki - 1lb chicken (sliced, cubed) 1c chicken broth 1/2c terriyaki or soy sauce 1/3c brown sugar 3minced garlic cloves Cook on low 6 hrs, high 3 hrs For thicker sauce: remove from crockpot and place in sauce pan. Add 2 Tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup cold water and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
Alternative to pasta: Bring a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat on the stove.Add slaw and 1/4 cup water. Stirring occasionally, cook until water has evaporated and slaw has softened slightly, about 5 - 8 minutes (This is actually what I did all the time when I dropped 100 pounds. Works awesome in stir-fry too, instead of rice or lo mein!)

Mushroom Asiago Chicken -- tried tonight 9/18/13. It was delicious. My husband and I both loved it. The chicken was so tender and the sliced mushrooms were very flavorful. I did use dried thyme instead of fresh but all in all an amazing and easy dish!
