this Geirangerfjord was one of the most visited tourist sites in norway. It is visited by 150-200 cruise ships and more than 700,000 tourists each year. It’s located in the municipality of Stranda a 15-km (9.3-mile) long branch of the Storfjord with depth reaching over 600 m (1.9 feet).

Geiranger is a small tourist village in the western part of Norway. It lies at the head of the Geirangerfjord. The nearest city is Ålesund.
