hungry caterpillar party! I would never do something this extravagant for a one-year-old, but this has loads of adorable ideas for a party based on one of my all-time favorite children's books.

Oatmeal Cottage Cheese Pancakes. 3 whole eggs, 1 cup cottage cheese, 3/4 cup oats, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt. Blend all ingredients in blender and cook on griddle as you would cook any pancake...makes 8. Original recipe calls for flax meal and blueberries.

Baby Cereal Cookies: Perfect for babies learning to self feed, no added sugar! Great way to use leftover Infant Cereal! 1 cup Infant Single Grain Oatmeal Cereal, 2 mashed ripe bananas, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 egg, 1 tbsp butter, (optional: 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips, pictured) Mix everything together, form into tiny cookie balls on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 7-10 minutes.
