Sweet and Sour chicken - This was okay. I use the breading method for any asian stir-fry recipes. Not my FAV sauce, but it was really handy when we didn't have much in the fridge. I always have those ingredients on hand, and my kids liked it.

Creamy Chicken Pockets - Use biscuits or Rhodes rolls instead of crescent because I really dislike the taste of crescents. Great go-to dinner, always have ingredients that will work on hand.

The Taylor House: Lemon Brownies

    Loved these! I love lemon bars, but the filling is always a little too sweet for me. These were perfect, still sweet, and they honestly taste just like lemon bars in your mouth, but without the thick and intensely sweet filling. AND, they are ridiculously easy and fast to make!

    These were good. Snickerdoodles in half the time. No messy and time consuming rolling dough balls and coating in cinnamon sugar. I actually sprinkled the C+S the way it says to, but wanted it to be mixed in more so I tried to mix it and made it all all weird and lumpy because the dough wouldn't stick to itself. I thought I ruined it, but I flattened it back out the best I could and after it cooked it gave it a kind of crunchy crust because there were air pockets all over the top. I'd probably do it that way next time on purpose!

Easy Chicken, Potato, and Veggie Casserole

    This has basically made its way into my weekly rotation. I rarely make it the same twice, but I always have chicken, potatoes, and veggies, so it's a good go-to dinner. I use Costco's frozen green beans because I greatly dislike canned green beans. I put the chicken in the center, potatoes on the sides, season, and then put the frozen green beans over the top. To season I use some combination of onion, minced garlic, and brown gravy powder or something like a lipton beef and onion packet, italian dressing seasoning, or even ranch powder. Whatever I have on hand. Sometimes I give it a big splash of balsamic vinegar. It turns out with a really great gravy like juice. It's a keeper.

Crock Pot Roast

    This was pretty good. I want to try it again with a different cut of roast. The one I got looked about like the one in the picture, and it just had so much fat and gristle in it, I couldn't enjoy it. But the taste was good, and I made it with potatoes and carrots and it was a good meal. My husband really liked it.

    It was okay. My husband wasn't a big fan. I enjoyed it as leftovers more than I did the night I cooked it. Probably won't be making it again anytime soon.

    I might have to try this again. It had potential--especially as a kid pleaser--but the crescents didn't cook all the way through and I'm not sure if that's a problem with the recipe or if I just needed to cook longer.

    Made these tonight. They were SO good. My husband was in love with the roast. I didn't use the chipotle sauce, just the meat in its juices. I also didn't have any Italian dressing mix, so I just used ranch, and I made Rhodes rolls instead of using Hawaiian. Definitely going in our rotation.

    This was DELICIOUS! Everyone ate lots. Jonas ate more of it than he usually eats in an entire day. Made with milk, greek yogurt, and chicken broth.

    These are my favorite PB cookies ever. I add a splash of vanilla and a generous dash of cinnamon to mine, and even Matthew can't keep his hands off of them.

    I made a version of this, but it was more like orange honey ginger chicken. But I used the method and some ratios from the recipe. It was amazing! My husband loved it, and Jonas ate A LOT of it. Its a keeper.
