All this is true from personal experience. I stopped eating simple carbs such as bread, potatoes, and pasta, and started eating foods higher in complex carbs, protein, and natural fats. I eat eggs, avocados, asparagus, green beans, broccoli, tomatos, eggplant, chicken, beef, olives, LOTS of nuts, yogurt, andonly in season fruit. Not only do I have more energy and brain power but I find my mood more cheerful. Oh, another benefit is that I have dropped three pant sizes while maintaining a relatively stress free and delicious dietary change.

The trick is to put the pan in a cold oven and then switch it on and begin your timer. Im amazed how many people dont know this. Cook bacon in the oven. Cover cookie sheet with tinfoil first. We do 375 for about 20 min instead of 400 for ten because the lower and slower the more fat renders out. I hate getting SPLATTERED!! This works perfect! 8/25/12 - This is the easiest way to cook bacon ever! No more standing over a skillet for me! Clean up was easy!
Crockpot Italian Chicken: 4 chicken breasts, 1 packet Zesty Italian dressing seasoning, 1 8 oz. cream cheese (softened), 2 cans cream of chicken soup; Cook on low for 4 hours. If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over pasta. Sounds delicious!
breakfast ham/egg enchiladas - these were very easy. I almost folded in the ends of the tortillas like I normally would on an enchilada, but I'm glad I didn't, because leaving them open is part of the miracle of these enchiladas. The egg makes its way inside of the tortillas and bakes in there!
