The Woodland Cemetery in Newark, NJ is a magnificent 36.5 acre cemetery, complete with Gothic revival gatehouse, and contains over 80,000 burials. The site's history dates back to 1855 when it opened as the West Newark Cemetery. The brownstone Gothic Revival gatehouse was constructed between 1873 and 1881.
