High School Bulletin Boards

I mustache you to check out one of these great books!

"Like Snowflakes, No Two Books Are Alike" is a nice title for a winter bulletin board display that highlights reading. For this title, I would have my students complete a Venn diagram comparing two books and then have students glue cut out snowflakes around their Venn diagrams.

Look at this @Rachel Cain-Abercrombie Used this bulletin board to showcase books that had something to do with the WILD. Either in the title or subject matter of the book.

The first line of the book was on the front cover - you lift the flap to see the book title and author.

Read Your Way Around the World By Elaine Pearson In this display I have chosen to promote stories from different cultures around the world - some true and some fiction. It would work equally well with information books about different countries and travel books.

A Teen Book Display I made last year featuring funny books. Gordon Korman, Catherine Jinks, E. Lockhart, etc. Like a wordle

I know, not an iLesson - but a super cute idea and could be made virtual - Ticket out the door is to "Tweet" or comment about topic.. This is an effective use of social networks AND exit slip!
