Thrifty Little: Fabric manipulations
up-and-coming UK-based fashion designer Georgia Hardinge who agreed to share her awesome Fall 2011 collection in which the designer explored the sculptural and two-dimensionality of skeletons. Inspired by the morbid imageries taken by Joel Peter Witkin, the runway set featured tops, dresses and leggings with abstract monochromatic skeletal prints, and later followed by an off-white ensemble of textural leather garments with layered pleats and fold details.
