My Favorite Things
Favorite things of my past, present and, perhaps, future.
One of my favorite internet finds of all time. Please take the time to read it. It'll probably make you a little misty-eyed. But that's okay.
Your child's drawing on key chain for DAD. I need to remember this for Fathers Day!! Adorable!
worm art This reminds us of the termite nest "sculpture" that Wharton kept on his windowsill after removing the termite nest from his studio foundation. He kept it as a reminder that mother nature is ALWAYS going to be the superior artist and this worm art is just another example of that. magic, driftwood, beetl, pattern, bug art, artist, wood carvings, walking sticks, mother nature
Though I don't care for the artists, I've always appreciated worm art.
Absolutely love this.. lyrics to your wedding song.
Throughout the year, write down memories that make you smile. On New Year's, open it up and reread all of the good stuff that made the year wonderful!
A few years later, my father sold the car to a collector who has since fully restored it. I'm thrilled to see it in it's beautiful state but part of me is sad that I never got to drive it.
This was my father's 1965 convertible corvette. He'd blown the engine before I was born and it sat in our garage. As a child, I'd often climb behind the wheel and pretend to drive it. In August of 1988, our garage caught fire and after, it looked like this.
WOW! The awesomely Gothic organ at the Mexico City cathedral in the zocalo.
