Anti-bullying lesson: Give each child a piece of paper (like this heart with a little poem) and have them say something mean to it while they crumple it into a ball... Then have the children smooth out the heart while they apologize for what they said. Explain that even though they apologized, the paper/ heart is still hurt (wrinkled) by their mean words.
I do this lesson every year, but never had this poem. It will be a good addition! (With Chrysanthemum!)
