Walking Sticks - Canes

On Ebay you can find a lot of interesting and strange items such as strange music instruments. Like a Walking Cane Tenor Guitar. For some reason the luthier who built it gave all sorts of information about himself except his name. Here's what he wrote about himself: "Artist's Philosophy. I have a very small one-man studio behind my home. I try to use local materials and domestically grown woods when possible. On my smaller items i use scrap wood from a local mill. "

This stick of light-coloured cane has a gold handle decorated with engraved rocaille ornament. The upper lid is hinged and inside there is a watch made by the English clockmaker T. Fitter. Belonged to Emperor Paul I.
