Another great one...motherhood tattoo...but if I got one like this I think I would want it the other way around, with the bottom of the heart pointing toward my elbow.

Celtic motherhood tattoo. "The Celtic motherhood symbol looks like 2 hearts made out of knot work. One heart is lower than the first heart and both hearts are intertwined in a continuous knot. To add children to the Celtic motherhood symbol, you add dots. 1 dot per child. These dots can be placed anywhere inside or outside the motherhood symbol.

Koru - a symbol of Maori art mimicking the fiddlehead of new ferns. It symbolizes new life, growth, development, and peace. The circular shape of the koru helps to convey the idea of perpetual movement while the inner coil suggests a return to the point of origin.

The Hindus have Five Elements ~ Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Spirit (akasha). Most Wiccans go along with this view. In fact, the pentagram, (the supreme symbol of Paganism and Witchcraft), is said to represent the Five Elements. Each of the points of the pentagram represents one of the Elements according to this view, with Spirit on top.
