If you like to hike and like natural history -check out Ferry Bluff View. Broad views of the Wisconsin River Valley from a riverside bluff. Two hundred feet above the river, a wide sandstone ledge offers broad vistas, stretching to Blue Mounds, 15 miles to the south, and beyond. Moses and Persis Laws operated a ferry boat landing near the base of the bluff during the late 1800s. Today it is a well-known canoe landing, and the short hike to the bluff-top vistas is a popular one.
