Blackberry Jam-4 c blackberries 1 c sugar 2 T cornstarch 1/4 t. allspice 1/4 t. ground cinnamon 1/2 t. lemon juice Mashing blackberries in pan. Stir in sugar until juices form. 1. Take 1T of juice & add it to the cornstarch in another bowl. 2. mix together then add it back to blackberries in the pan. Bring berries to a boil, stirring often, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat & allow to cool. 3. Place mixture in bowl & chill in the refrigerator. 4. Once chilled, stir in the lemon juice.
