Always searching for the next craft to do with my grandchildren. Trying to be the best Oma I can possibly be so that when they grow up, they will have a fond place for me in their hearts.

Trace hands, cut out & glue down, except for the fingers. Make sums to 10 & record underneath.

Yarn and tape a hallway for a "laser obstacle course". That will keep 'em busy for a couple of hours.

Aww how cute! ....From another pinner: "My Dad used to come to our rooms armed with "Monster Spray" when we had nightmares. He sprayed it under the bed, in my shoes, all the places monsters might hide. I loved it, the scent comforted me til I fell asleep." what a great idea! # Pin++ for Pinterest #

Positive reinforcement - Put a cotton ball, marble, pom-pom, etc. in every time you catch your child being good. Do something special when it's full. This is exactly what I need instead of focusing on the bad.

Cool science experiment for kids! Rainbow Roses Get white of cream colored long stem roses. (Carnations work well too). Cut the stem according to the picture, you will then place 4 glasses of food color dyed water together. Put one piece of stem per color and allow the flower to soak up different colors.

Mr. Potato Head Cupcakes -- cute for a party... Let the kids decorate their own.

Great idea for shower or birthday party. I cut my rice treats with cookie cutters but never thought to put them on a stick

What a great, smart idea for birthday parties. Pre-scoop your ice cream, insert a small wooden spoon, roll in sprinkles, refreeze.

FUN...Ice Cream in a Bag This is SOOO easy… and delicious! In a small Ziplock bag, put: 1/2 C. half and half (milk works too) 1 Tbps. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Insert that bag into a larger, one gallon Ziplock filled with ice and salt. Shake the bag for five minutes. Kids love that part! Then, remove the smaller bag which should have turned into ice cream. I did this in elem school and have been looking every where for it!
