Black & White Photos I Love!

Miner Boy: Children were cheap labor in the mines. This boy spent 10 hours a day in that outfit with only the light from that tallow wick lamp. He cleaned & played the part of a "canary" (kids were easier to replace than good miners). He was probably Finnish or Swedish & indentured to the company for the purpose of paying his fathers debts. The unions fought bloody battles to get these children out of the coal mines. This little guy worked (& likely died) in Utah or Colorado mines

Picture of 2 orphans at the Anna Spafford Baby Home. Her husband, Horatio Spafford wrote the hymn, "It is Well with My Soul" after the tragedy of losing his 4 children from a ship wreck. You can click on the picture and it will take you to the site for the full story. Very moving.

Triumph Over Tragedy

We lose sleep over it. We sleep better with it. It is (and should be) the furthest thing from a trend and yet it’s the coolest, best, most fulfilling thing out there. LOVE (old love is sweet love)

'I can eat this, right...?'

I guess im hopelessly retro but what is more erotic ....than nylons, a garterbelt, and High, High heels certainly not nudity....A garter belt and nylons can make any Pin-Up seem like a major my opinion ....essential to a true Pin-UP ....
