Bay View Named One of the Nations 12 “Prettiest Painted Places” Naming of the 12 “Prettiest Painted Places in America” comes after a rigorous four-month search by the Paint Quality Institute that involved thousands of contacts with state tourism departments, convention and visitors’ bureaus, chambers of commerce, and Main Street groups, all of whom were invited to nominate communities. Winners in the North Central Region were Bay View Association, Michigan and Stillwater, Minnesota.

Prettiest Painted Places in America Finalists Named ~ Judges have completed their review of the nearly 200 entries submitted in the search to find the “Prettiest Painted Places in America” and have named the 60 finalists who will compete this month for national honors. Two communities will be selected from each of the six regions as the 12 Prettiest Painted Places in America. The Bay View Association was selected as a finalist for the North Central Region.
